Uber Entrepreneur Course Starts In February

Community Business College and the Patterson School District Adult Education will be offering a new class this Spring to teach adults how to set their own businesses using Uber.

Many people don’t realize that driving for Uber and other services requires drivers to have their own businesses since they are independent contractors. This class teaches the ins and outs of setting up a new business right from the beginning and to take advantage of the tax benefits of being an entrepreneur.

Lyft, Door Dash, Grub Hub and other gig-economy options are also included.

Since this is a program funded by the state’s economic development projects, there is no charge to students who sign up.
Registration can be done online at https://sites.google.com/patterson.k12.ca.us/adulted/classesclases/ride-sharing-entrepreneur?authuser=0
